The two were completely unsuspecting, until the Season 10 trailer dropped, which left fans in shock.
Over the season, the two blossomed into something more than friends.

However, Venita has since clarified the sequence of events online.
The first major error in the timeline is when Venita invites JT over for dinner.

The season was filmed in the spring and summer of 2024.

So, essentially, Salley was the “other woman”.
These incidents put the cast members over the edge.
They couldn’t deal with him throwing random unfounded accusations and getting into other people’s business.
In the reunion teaser, Venita is shown pulling out receipts on her phone.
