This has let people look atSpider-Man 3with a new lens.

But what is it about the movie that makes it so much better than people remember?

6The Ending

Maybe a final swing wasn’t necessary.

However, his third entry doesn’t end with one of these, which upset people at the time.

A verbal apology wouldn’t be enough, so Peter instead begins to show it with his actions.

It was his life as Spider-Man that gave him the ego that destroyed their relationship in the first place.

A strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.

Their problems weren’t going to be solved with more Spider-Man.

Peter Parker needed to step up.

5The Cinematography

Thank you, Bill Pope.

The legend known as the one and onlyBill Popeis one of the best cinematographers/directors of photography in the game.

His talents are all over cinema and there’s absolutely zero exception withSpider-Man 3.

One can say what they want about the messier parts of the plot.

4MOST of the Black Suit Arc

Listen… it wasn’t all bad.

It’s goofy and dorky and cringeybut that is the entire point.

3The Sandman Plot

He should’ve been the only main villain.

His reasoningfor his badass villainyis super-compelling and works very well, getting audiences to care about the character.

Flint Marko is a genuine character that people actually care about.

2Action and Spectacle

Audiences haven’t seen action like this in a while.

Something about the way that he executes set-pieces that feels so grand and hard-hitting.

He created one of themost thrilling fight scenes in all superhero cinemainSpider-Man 2.

The same prowess carried over toSpider-Man 3.

Audiences simply don’t get stuff like this in modern day MCU.

There’s a certain feeling one gets when watching Raimi’s action that can’t be found anywhere else.

It’s breathtaking and distracts from the less-than-admirable parts of the movie.

1Sam Raimi and His Vision

The man, the myth, the legend.
