The only question remains: What could Sir possibly know that isthatvaluable to the FBI?
And is it connected to the dark family secret he claims to know about Trent (Brett Dalton)?
How Is Sir Valuable To the FBI?
Many characters inFound, including the incredibly smart Gabi Mosely, speak highly of Sir’s intelligence.
Eventhe aforementioned Hannibal Lecter’shelp was only sought out when a senator’s daughter went missing.
She was his accomplice and did commit identity theft, among other crimes, across state lines.
That, too, would technically fall under the FBI’s jurisdiction.
Additionally, Sir’s crimesvastlyoutnumber Lena’s.
Things just got a lot more complicated.
What If the FBI Is Onto Trent’s Father?
Trent seems to havea thorny relationship with his fatherdespite clearly looking up to him.
James Trent told Gabi in as many words to stay away from his son.
Sir claims to have shocking secrets that will destroy the Trent family name forever.
And while the episode ends with the now-adult children reuniting with their families, Sir remains unbothered.
Trent directly gloats to Sir’s face about finding the children, and Sir only congratulates him.
And the key lies in the riddle-esque note Sir gives Trent to read to Gabi.
It’s clear that whatever Sir is trying to communicate to Gabi has to do with Mark Trent specifically.
This could be the case the FBI is giving Sir special privileges in exchange for his help.
Chances are, this trafficking operation is still ongoing.
It might even explainSir’s cryptic note.
Mark Trent himself could very well be one of the trafficked children in question without even knowing it.
Mark looks nothing like his father.
The illegitimate circumstances of his birth might be the cause of the strife in his relationship with his father.
And this twist would give Mark Trent direct narrative parallels to Gabi and Jamie (Parker Queenan).
Orhave James Trent and Sir known each other far longer than either is willing to let on?
If we’re lucky, these questions will be answered in the remaining episodes of Season 2.
But, more likely, we will have to wait and hope for a Season 3 renewal.
