Why Are Instant Marriage Shows So Popular?
What is it about these shows that are so entertaining to audiences?
Or the humiliation put upon these poor couples?
Its crazy that such a show even exists, yetaudiences cant get enough of it.
90 Day Fiancemay be even more bizarre in concept, if possible.
While this is a very real circumstance, exploiting such a process for entertainment value is quite strange.
But is that why theyre so popular?

Is the Divorce Rate Higher With Televised Weddings?
To entirely blame a couples divorce on the pressure of a televised wedding would be unfair.
When signing up for these types of shows, the contestant knows what theyre getting into.
Its in the name ofMarried at First Sightand90 Day Fiance.
ButThe Bachelorfranchise is a bit more murky in terms of a walk down the aisle.
He wished Joan Vassos luck for the first season of ‘The Golden Bachelorette.’
And almost every time they are asked by the host when theyll be getting married.
It follows older people as they seek to find love again.
That is until production got to them.

So it’s like, why not?
MAFS, the famed marriage experiment has proven a failure.
Should U.S. follow the Australian franchise with older couples?
Its understandable that the pair would want to marry quickly, but a month after getting engaged?
Ultimately, marriage doesnt always work out, and sometimes even the most perfect-seeming couples divorce.
