The concept behind casting Affleck as Batmanan older, grizzled Bruce Wayne who has seen some thingswas sound.

And yet AffleckasBatman is quite good.
In his performance, you’re able to see that his fear is motivated by personal loss.

Also, when the film finally gives Batman a laugh line (Im a friend of your sons.)
Its difficult to be a definitive Batman when youre not the sole superhero.
Obviously, as an actor, Ben Affleck is going to be just fine.

But looking at his time as Batman, it feels like a missed opportunity.
At the end of the day, Affleck isnt the writer or director ofBatman v SupermanandJustice League.
