This tour saw the band play 52 shows nationwide.

The average crowd size was reported to be 1,300.
This tour was in support of Metallicas fourth album…And Justice for Alland took place over 222 concerts.
For the next two decades, Metallica would consistently book tours, shows, and festival slots.

The show took place on December 8, 2013 in theCarlini Base of Antarctica.
The band performed 10 songs from their extensive catalog.
This was the most unique show Metallica has ever done," the band wrote.

Whats Next For Metallica?
Metallica is currently on theirM72 World Tourin support of their 11th studio album72 Seasonswhich arrived in April 2023.
The international tour kicked off the same month and isscheduled to continue through November.
But as the bands been on tour, the members have beencooking up ideas for their next musical chapters.
There will be vocals because the songs that I wrote scream for vocals this time around.
So Im like, okay, whos gonna be doing the vocals?
I hope Im notI already have too much to do on stage, Hammett said.
Hammett also revealed that he hasnew guitar riffs and lines for upcoming Metallica projects.
I have 767 new ones for the next album, he says.
It is such a nightmare going through this stuff, too.
And Im the one responsible for all of it and I cant do it….
So it looks like Metallica will be touring for the foreseeable future.
And perhaps, making even more history along the way.
