In the nearly two months since its first season took a bow, ABCs quirky procedural,High Potential, continues to draw in viewers.
While a lot of these numbers are folks checking out the much-talked-about series for the first time, wed wager that some of the tally comes from those who are giving it another pass through to see what they might have missed the first time around.
Despite being one of the networks biggest hits of the year, theKaitlin Olson-starrer went black after just 13 episodes, butwith cameras set to pick up in the near future, fans are looking for the goods and by that, we mean any scrap or crumb that the creative team will throw our way.

Luckily, creator and producerDrew Goddard, executive producer and showrunnerTodd Harthan, and Olson sat down as part of the networks panel at the Deadline Contenders Television event and spilled the tea on some very interesting Season 2 storylines.
Of all thecharacters surrounding Olsons Morgan, there are two who audiences found themselves particularly drawn to Morgans partner, Detective Adam Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), and her missing first husband, Roman.
Much of the debut set of episodes saw Morgan and Adam give off will-they-wont-they vibes, and, while he was only spoken about, Romans arc certainly shaped a gargantuan part of the season.
A single mom with a brilliant but unconventional mind becomes an unlikely crime-solving partner to a by-the-book detective. Her unique ability to piece together clues that others overlook makes her indispensable to the LAPD Major Crimes unit, leading to an unorthodox but highly effective investigative duo.
For those hoping for more to come from both complicated relationships, Harthan said,
The Morgan-Karadec of it all and the Roman of it all are two massive serialized threads that run through this show.
So I guarantee you this: there will be lots of satisfying answers, progression on both of those fronts this season, for sure.
Kaitlin Olson Teases a Longer Season 2
As we mentioned at the top, fans loved everything aboutHigh Potential, except for the fact that the series only saw the crack team of detectives uncovers cases over a 13-episode span.
Even though no one has come out and said it, wed speculate that Olsons super-busy schedule is to blame.
The actress is making a comeback in the upcoming season of the critically-acclaimed series,Hacks, and has been hard at work with her trio of coworkers for the seventeenth season ofIts Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
But, when passed the mic during the panel, Olson was quick to tease a longer sophomore season, telling the audience to expect a little bit more when it comes to the number of episodes.
