Ramona went through all of that just to shoot herself in the head, leaving her kids orphans.
Who wants to watch a movie that ends like that?!
Instead, she chose death.
It’s not the pain that causes you to end your life, but a supernatural being.
On top of that, depression is also used as a twist.
Ramona isn’t just depressed because her husband died.
In reality, many people are depressed and hide it.
They do find the strength to live and are not just tropes for a plot machine.
