Its a tense sequence, one with plenty of ramifications yet to come.
In his extremely stoned state,Rick releases venomous snakes, one of which bites Chelsea.
Its certainly jarring to hear, all things considered.
But perhaps its just the way the show is manifesting one of its signature tropes?
Maybe this is another case of building a couple to a boiling point, only to leave them together.
Unfortunately, this isnt the case.
Similarly, we genuinely couldnt tell what was going to becomeof Season 2s off-putting romance.
That being said,it would be a huge mistake if the show decides to keep them together.
In a way, they are a match made inproblematic television heaven.
However, there is no situation that would justify Chelsea and Rick continuing this tradition.
They are, quite literally, deadly for one another.
Rick is unhinged in all the worst ways and has already proven he cares little for Chelseas well-being.
