Noah Wyleis no stranger to starring in medical dramas.

The star ofThe Pittmade a name for himself on the 1994 dramaER,created byJurassic ParkauthorMichael Crichton.

Now, Wyle is opening up about his feelings on the situation.

Wyle toldVarietyhe feels profoundly sad and disappointed by Crichton’s lawsuit.

This taints the legacy, and it shouldnt have, Wyle said to the outlet about Crichton’s lawsuit.

At one point, this could have been a partnership.

And when it wasnt a partnership, it didnt need to turn acrimonious.

So, according to Wyle, they pivoted away from a straight-forwardERreturn and instead,Pittwas born.

And not for litigious reasons, but because we didnt want to retread our own creative work.

The suit claims thatERandThe Pittare the same.

No one has been fooled.

But Wyle did note that one thing fromERcarriedover toThe Pitt: The cast dynamics.

We see each other fall in love, get married, have children, get divorced, he said.

Those relationships transcend the screen and become palpable to an audience who wants to be part of that family.
