Nick’s parents are initially very reluctant, but after some time, they change their minds.

Jake is mostly physically fine, but Leah arrives at the hospital in critical condition.

Leah dies anyway, though, and Robby has to tell Jake.

About halfway through the season, though,Collins has a miscarriage.

It is a devastating scene, especially in the context of what follows.

Afterward, Collins gives herself an ultrasound, then goes back to work without telling anybody.

Mel (Taylor Dearden) has the idea of bringing Bella a teddy bear from the gift shop.
