But as the series developed, Kanan proved that he is far more than some mentor.

Another Jedi Master who was wildly redeemed byStar Wars: The Clone Warsis Plo Koon.
This enhancement made him one of the more powerful Force users in the Jedi Council at the time.
He also had a deep knowledge of physics that not many others did.
That allowed him to use his surroundings differently than others.
This made him an extremely skillful combatant.
Which made his descent into Kylo Ren even more devastating and scary.
Ben Solo is one of the two reasons the Galaxy is (currently) at peace.
