Before things get too negative, lets just get one thing out of the way, first and foremost.
If something is a bit dumb or otherwise eyebrow-raising, then it deserves to be considered here.
Competent fight scene choreography and a generally coherent way of capturing said choreography is usually enough.

Theyll look bad in 2055.
Theyll be timelessly terrible.

Its probably more divisive than something that outright ruinsThe Dark Knight Risesin the eyes of all.
But… theres a limit to such allowances.
Bane says, So, you came back to die with your city.Batman responds, No.
I came back to stop you.
Then they start punching each other.
Both Tom Hardy and Christian Bale are excellent actors, but not even they can sell such dopey dialogue.
Something else happened, or it didnt, or just none of it matters.
It makes for a cool visual, but it also doesnt make sense on any sort of logical front.
What the hell can be said about this that hasnt already been said, or isnt entirely obvious?
