Accordingto a Preply study, half of Americans watch content with subtitles most of the time.

Its hard to keep track of quick dialogue when there are so many words being thrown at us.

Because of this, Kapwing ran a study wherethey reviewed TV series with the most dialogue.

They counted the subtitles from themost popular TV showsfor the latest 50 episodes and divided them by episode length.

This is how they determined the average words per minute for each show.

FromFrasiertoNew Girl, many ofthe best comedy serieshave quick, witty dialogue.
