But when one general offers another star to a lower-level one, the latter gives it a shot anyway.
They have a court-martial with no time to prepare, and three men are tried under penalty of death.
Colonel Dax (Kirk Douglas), who has experience as an attorney, admirably defends his men.
Even after the verdict is decided, the viewer’s attention is effortlessly held.
It’s excellent, as Robarts can only sit and watch as twist after twist unfolds before him.
Even the jury selectionmakingInherit The Windstill one of the most thrilling court dramas 65 years after its release.
The story intricately weaves courtroom tension with emotional revelations, exploring the blurred lines between truth and deception.
This makes for an especially difficult and thought-provoking case, not to mention an ambiguous one.
