Who knew some horror movies could be such drags?

Horror is a genre that has seen extreme highs but also some major lows.

And then it has some of these movies that’ll just make anyone feel incredibly dissatisfied after watching them.

So, prepare yourself not to that much terror.

Let’s look at ten horror films that’ll make you fall asleep.

Slowly, as they endure in the darkness, they realize they are not alone.

It’s difficult to stay awake half the time, as so many quiet moments lead to nothing.

Next isJaws: The Revenge, the unnecessary fourth installment inthe lameJawsfranchise.

It ended with no need for a sequel.

Two children wake up in the middle of the night to find their father is missing, and all the windows and doors in their home have vanished.

Still, this is a pretty terrible, dull mess.

The plot is forgettable, the writing is cliched, and most of the performances are phoned-in.

Is it that these attempts feel soulless and made just for cheap scares and a few bucks?

Or is it because they completely miss the point of what made their original stories so terrifying?

2008’sOne Missed Callis one such abysmal attempt that it’s both of those questions.

They make up one of the most ground-breaking subgenres of horror.

Anyone going into this expecting something likeShaun of the DeadorZombielandwill surely be disappointed.

Not every film needs a remake because some are just perfect the way they are.

This is just like the first one, right down to featuring the same lines and even camera shots.

Though some would find bits and pieces to look fondly on this one, it’s mostly skippable.

Well, that’s not the case forThe Disappointments Room, a 2016 supernatural horror drama directed byD.

J. Carusoand starringKate Beckinsale.

Not to mention, it leads to another underwhelming climax that makes it completely pointless to watch.

Overall, there’s not much to get out ofThe Open House.

It’s hard to get invested in this when nothing seems to come together.
