With tremendous psychological depth, tons of poignancy and emotional impact, and a commanding intensity.

Without Burstyn’s masterful performance, it wouldn’t work half as well as it does.

It’s impossible to blame them.

This isthe performance of a lifetime, perhaps even the greatest acting ever seen in an American movie.
