Also, any excuse to praiseGodzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attackis worth taking.
But that feels like a nitpick.
This movie still rocks, overall.
It can be pretty spectacular.
Godzillas victorious at the end of another battle,and various other monsters approachand bow before him.
Itexcelled above and beyond mostGodzillamoviesin its storytelling, establishing of stakes, and character development for the non-monster characters.
The battle at the end certainly feels like going for broke, in a good way.
When it comes to defeating Godzilla at the end of the film, the sequence itself is rather understated.

Godzilla is defeated, but the possibility of another monster rising again isnt out of the question.
