COLLIDER: Tom, Harry has a very interesting relationship with the Harrigans.

TOM HARDY: I think he’s just there to do a job at the moment.
I don’t think he has any aspirations towards anything more than that.
Paddy, I feel like you’ve been cursed to play fathers with awful sons recently.

Its caused a lot of trouble.
I’ll get my house blown up.
It’s no joke.

So, I’m not pleased with him.
HARDY: Hes still upset as a character.
He’s kind of a mess.

CONSIDINE: But imagine that.
I’ve had me house blown up.
So, he’s not in my favor.
He’s lucky he just got a cattle prod.
HARDY: Harry and Bella?
CONSIDINE: Whats going on with you and Bella?
HARDY: Thats his wife!
CONSIDINE: Thats my missus.
I hate to break the news to you guys, but there’s something going on with them.
What’s their individual take on it?
Tom, I’ll start with you first.
HARDY: There’s nothing going on there.
So, Harry’s across the deck on everybody for look after their security.
So, that’s from my point of view.
But Kevin, though he’s paranoid about a lot of things, he trusts Harry.
HARDY: A bit.
Hes had his house blown up.
Give him a break.
He doesn’t know what happens in the series.
CONSIDINE: I’ve never seen it.
HARDY: He wasn’t in most of it.
[Laughs]
CONSIDINE: I got cut out of most of it.
HARDY: Hes just coming to do press.
His part got cut out!
CONSIDINE: It’s a bit of a holiday for me.
I get to spend more time with Tom.
Can you talk about why Kevin feels like he can trust Harry more than his family members?
HARDY: He doesn’t want anything from you.
CONSIDINE: No, I think he finds Harry quite dependable.
But I feel like Ive had that myself growing up.
That sort of happens.
You experience things that are exclusive to you, and you create your friendships and bonds that way.
HARDY: I think it’s really important to leave that in mythology in some aspect.
We don’t know where he’s come from or what he’s been through.
As we evolve through the seasons to come, I’d rather not pinpoint him specifically into anything.
I’m not even sure Ive filled the prison backstory.
But once you’ve seen it, you could’t undo it.
It’s there forever, so we’re tied into that.
Not that it doesn’t make sense.
It absolutely does, and I understand why.
As a producer, I get it.
Butpersonally, theres more in what we don’t know about characters.
Paddy, I love your performance inHouse of the Dragon.
Your performance was fantastic with Matt Smith.
CONSIDINE: I saw that statue on sale on Season 2, and I walked past it for days.
Then I just looked up, like, Oh my god.
I rang my wife and said, We’ve got this statue.
And she said, Can we have it?
And I said, you could see that from space.
But they made me a little model of it.
HARDY: Now you need the real one.
CONSIDINE: But no Season 3.
It was fun the second time because the character had an impact, but Season 3, no.
I think people would be like, Oh, go on.
Piss off, mate.
