For Guerra’sSurvivorstory, it began during the audition process.
His stutter has been a part of who he is.
There wasn’t a way to hide it, nor would he want to.
“My stutter has significantly influenced how I approach the world and how I interact with others.
Stuttering is just one part of my story, not the whole story.
Its everything to me.
The respectful conversation is the first of its kind.
Guerra shared, “When Cedrek shared that with me, I felt an immediate connection.
With both individuals' stories present on screen, they’ve acknowledged how important it is.
“Visibility and representation are so important to communities like ours.
Its daunting to expose yourself to public scrutiny, especially when theres fear of judgment.

“By being onSurvivor, Im showing others that your speech difference doesnt have to limit your dreams.
It’s unfortunate that there may have been a fear holding individuals back from sharing their voice on screen.
Its important to tell all stories on reality television.We learn and grow ourselves by seeing others share their experiences.
It’s part of their arsenal of superpowers.
The beauty of the reality television genre is its ability to share everyone’s story.
And there are certainly many more stories to share.
