Sonic the Hedgehog 4is coming to theaters sooner than you think.
According toVariety, Paramountis already working on the fourth installment of the franchise.
The announcement comes the very same day thatSonic the Hedgehog 3premieres in theaters.

TheSonicfranchise has proved to be a success for Paramount because of its massive appeal to families and younger audiences.
The project led to the development of aKnucklestelevision series starringIdris Elbain the role he first voiced in the movies.
No cast members have been confirmed to be returning toSonic the Hedgehog 4at this time.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is the sequel to the 2022 comedy-adventure movie that featured the Blue Blur and his companions on an adventure to stop Dr. Robotnik from taking over the world. The new film sees the new antagonist Shadow the Hedgehog, arriving to cause trouble for the newly formed trio of heroes, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, as they adjust to their earthly lives.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4will premiere in theaters in 2027 whileSonic the Hedgehog 3hits theaters today.
