According to Box Office Mojo,bothSnow WhiteandCruellahave brought in roughly $180 million.

Plenty of Disney films have crossed thebillion-dollar mark, which only makes theSnow White/Cruellacase more concerning.

The picture was made for an estimated $100,000,000.

Additionally, the movie wasmet with excellent reviews, thanks to its creative and artistic approach.

The film hasreceived mixed reviewsat best, with some praise for the performances but disappointment with the movies execution.

Indeed, its filled with excess, but at what cost?

The production design is kept largely practical, and it truly serves the movie beautifully.

It manages to capture the artistic sensibility of the original movie in a stunningly tangible way.

It often feels more like an austere arthouse movie rather than another entry in Disneys controversial remake practice.
