I would actually do plural marriage again for the independence, she said in a September 2024 episode.
“And then I have all my independence.
Last July, she addressed rumors that she wanted to rejoin Kody and Robyns relationship something she quickly denied.
“I’m in this place where I’m moving forward with my life,” Meri explained.
Andyes that meansJanelle and Kody are technically step-siblings, though they didnt grow up together.

She comes from astrictly monogamous background, including apast marriage she claims was abusive.
“I feel like she was sad.
I feel like that she had this idea when she came in the family of this big plural family.
I really think that,” Meri recalled.
“But then things were not matching up either… there was a lot of confusion.”

“I really, really struggle with it because it feels, like, ‘Oh, well.
Those didn’t work.
So, on to [someone] new,'” she said in 2023 after Meri left.
“That’s really, really hard for me.
It feels disrespectful.”
But she also admitted tostruggling with monogamy: “I don’t know what to do with it.
It’s messing with my identity,” Robyn tearfully said on-camera.
“It’s not the future I wanted.
That’s what I want.”
Perhaps more telling, Christine also activelyencourages women who feel trapped in polygamy to leaveif theyre unhappy.
“I want you to know youre not alone.
I’ve been there.
Conversely, Robyns ambivalence and Christines outright rejection showcase theemotional toll polygamy can have.
