The Rogue One bonanza continues with a new set of images from Gareth Edward’s upcoming “Star Wars Story”, which follows a team of Rebel resistance fighters united on a mission to steal the Death Star plans.
Aside from an official image, a logline and a set-piece heavy, plot short first trailer, we’ve been pretty in the dark about Rogue One (unless you happened to catch those leaked images) until this week when the floodgates of official info broke.
The film starsFelicity Jonesthe young outlaw Jyn Erso, withMads Mikklesenas her father, Galen Erso, an Oppenheimer punch in figure with doomsday knowledge that is sought by the Empire and the Alliance.

Thanks to EW, who has been droppingRogue Onebombs the last few days, we’ve got a new set of images including a look at Chirrut Imwe’s blaster and a behind the scenes image revealing how they used helicopters to film some of the beach sequences.Rogue Oneis set to hit theaters on December 16th.
