This is some much-needed good news forFriday the 13th.
There has been barely any Jason in the last decade.
However, this is just speculation at this time.
Friday the 13th is a horror-slasher film by director Sean S. Cunningham and follows a group of camp counselors who are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer known to be the site of a child’s drowning and a grisly double murder. The film began a decades-long franchise that would eventually lead to the creation of Jason Voorhees, one of the most popular horror icons of all time.
Cunningham teased early last year that hehad been in early development of a new filmin the series.
Yet there havent been any updates on that potential project in quite some time.
Miller, on the other hand, remains a producer on theCrystal Lakeseriesdespite the recent shake-ups.
The prequel seems to be in limbo while Peacock and A24 look for a new showrunner.
The franchise composerHarry Manferdiniteased that there was anew video game in developmentas well last year.
This is most likely a part of this new established collaboration.
