However,Saw Xwas a fun surprise whichcapitalized on horror’s revival by crafting more compelling stories and characters.
TheSawfilms have never been critically acclaimed,butSaw Xhad a very impressive 81% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Not only could the producers not get along, but Lionsgate had no one to smooth things over.

As Bloody Disgusting summed it up, “WithSaw XIeffectively canceled, so too is the franchise.”
It’s a heartbreaking end to one of modern horror’s biggest icons.
Let’s hope this is not what happens.

Imagine redoing the story with someone else playing Jigsaw.
That would be a slap in the face to the character and to Tobin Bell.
