In simple terms, the more gold extracted, the higher the potential earnings for everyone on the team.
These bonuses are just not enough to compensate for the demanding nature of the work.

Laurens Experience on Set Was Far From Ideal
Money wasnt the only issue for Lauren, though.

In fact, she was actually disappointed with the way things were done onGold Rush.

Did Rick Ness Play a Role in Laurens Exit?
But for some strange reason, Ness replied to the comment and went haywire on her.
He called her out for overstepping boundaries and speaking on things she had no idea about.
The reality staraccused his former employee of being jealousand trying to fuel speculation about him for her advantage.
Some speculated that there was more to their working relationship, with rumors of a potential romance gone wrong.
