In 2008, Jelly wascaught with marijuana and crack cocaine in his car.

He was sentenced toeight years of court-ordered supervision.

Also on his record are two misdemeanor offenses fordriving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During his time in jails and detention centers, Jellyoften wrote and sang songs to cope with difficulty.

He often visits jails and detention centers to share stories with inmates and perform free concerts.

Yes, you read that right.

Additionally, Jelly is an outspoken proponent of physical health.

For this particular 5K, he will be joiningcomedians Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura.

The marathon is set to take place on Sunday, May 4.

But during these stops, he continues to use his platform for good.

Whileon a recent trip to the United Kingdom, he spoke about a rehabilitation program.

Since Lee was elected in 2019, he has issued more than 90 pardons.

At the time of writing, there is no timeframe as to when a pardon is to be made.
