We also discussed what it was like filming those therapy scenes between D’Onofrio and Zurer.

MARGARITA LEVIEVA: I loved filming those scenes.

I love working with them.

So, the fact that I got to play one was like a dream come true.

I mean, that was truly my only job.

Because they give so much, and they were so present within their story and their relationship.

And, yeah, it was beautiful.

You could hear a pin drop, that space is so filled with their dynamic and their relationship.

It just felt real.

I was like, “Wow, I’m just listening to two people talk about their marriage.”

Obviously, Heather has a less sympathetic view towards vigilantes.

How do you think she would react to finding out that Matt is Daredevil?

Even as Matt, he clearly defends vigilantes, and these two don’t agree on that point.

That’s like a big point of contention for them.

How would she react to the revelation about the guy she’s been dating?

LEVIEVA: She would be heartbroken.

I think she would be really heartbroken and really disappointed.

I’ve obviously thought about it a lot in playing Heather.

How much does she actually know?

So, I do believe because she’s such an excellent therapist, she’s not that dumb.

I don’t think there’s a part of her that doesn’t know at all.

Because he’s got scars all over him and stuff!

She still would be very upset and disappointed, obviously, but for her own self.

It would be like, “Right.

I knew this all along, and I just chose not to see it.”

Definitely, I didn’t think about that.

That’s a pretty big lie to keep.

How Does Heather Deal With Living in Karen and Foggy’s Shadow?

They have this very strong bond.

Even in the most stable relationship, that could be a “Whoa” moment.

LEVIEVA: It’s another puzzle piece on the wall, bringing down this case.

She’s just like, “Right.

This is not the person I believed him to be.”

But you know it’s akin to that.

That is so hard to hear.

Even Heather says, “Yeah, like your old life with your old friends.”

Again, she’s not that stupid.

It’s very hurtful when you’re trying to make a relationship work with someone.

Or does she think that there’s hope for him and for the two of them to progress on?

LEVIEVA: I would say it’s probably a combination.

Do you see her siding with Fisk ever in the future, given his strong stance on anti-vigilantes?

LEVIEVA: I think the level of power that Fisk has and embodies is certainly attractive.

I think there’s also something really… obviously, he’s hiding things from Heather.

He probably won’t say that.

LEVIEVA: Yeah, this is a person that can do that.

And when Vanessa says, “No,” I don’t think she fully believes her either.

LEVIEVA: That’s a complicated question.

It would depend on the circumstance.

LEVIEVA: But yeah, probably Vanessa.

Though, in shooting those scenes, as I said, I’ve always had an affinity for Fisk.

Is there a point where things could go too far?
