Was that your read of it, too that the line finally has been crossed there?
JOSHA STRADOWSKI: Absolutely.
Usually, in previous seasons, that was always the other way around.

So, that was also fun for me, to have a different dynamic in the scene.
This season, there are quite some break-ups, and this is definitely one of them.
They have a clear understanding of each other and their intentions, and Rand even brings Moiraine to tears.

STRADOWSKI: What he feels is exactly what he says in the scene.
It was a beautiful scene, and it’s also how I wanted to end their relationship this season.
I remember we had conversations about it with Rafe [Judkins].
I really wanted them to build up this relationship that goes so deep.
That’s also what you see in Episode 6, after Alsera’s death.
They exchange this look that just says it all to me.

I’ve really become a fan of their relationship, especially towards the end of this season.
What was it like to film?
Butthat scene was really, really tough.
I felt like it was also time for that in the show and for me.
I was out for about 20 minutes.
It was definitely a very intense scene.
But I haven’t seen it yet.
We are watching every week like the audience does.
You’ve seen it.
Im curious how it turned out.
Your face is so inscrutable in that moment.
you might’t tell what Rand’s thinking.
Was that your intention, playing that question of whether hes going to release the One Power or not?
STRADOWSKI: That is exactly the question.
