I was living in the UK.

I had just moved over, but I was visiting family in Australia when I got the audition.

The chemistry reads were really beautiful.

I got to sit down with the producers, and they really welcome you in.

Marcus [Rutherford] was so generous as an actor, so I felt that push and pull instantly.

How many weeks did you have to spend really developing those skills?

The stunt team was so great.

Theyre so detailed. They had a specific fighting style for every character.

Their vision for everything, the little details, was just so, so fascinating.

By the third week, you’re flying through it.

BUCCERI: We had such great writers coming on and a lot to play with in the scripts.

With me and Marcus, we didn’t talk too much about it.

I have to ask about the specifics of the scene, which I love.

We did speak about it.

She just went for it.

BUCCERI: Yeah, it does.

To me, as an actor, accents really do help me step into characters.

I thinkFailes accent is so intense but soft.

It just kept coming out in that way, almost musically.

You have the line where you say, What would you give for the Two Rivers?

And he says, Everything.

She really sees people and she understands.

It leads into the other terrific part of that scene.

BUCCERI: A lot of rehearsal.

Me and Marcus were in the gym nearly every day for a few weeks for that one.

That one was really thought out, and I love that.

That was one of my favorite parts of shooting.

BUCCERI: I think she definitely is.

I don’t think she really trusts people completely from the get-go.

Maybe she doesn’t want to be identified with it just yet.

I’m not sure.

The Wheel of TimeSeason 3 finale premieres Thursday on Prime Video.
