They provide insight into the storylines occurring in each episode.
They help to reinforce the characteristics of the different reality TV personas viewers are shown.

And these shady little chyrons also add tothe celebratory atmosphere of the show.
Hannah’s ex-boyfriend, Marciano, also returned this season, promising to have changed.
There are also moments in the season where these chyrons simply add to the fun.
Whenever housekeeper Hagen is on the screen, the chyrons can’t keep up with his witty observations.
