He knows thatonce Hollywood gets its hands on a project, its difficult to maintain creative control.
And given how many fantasy adaptations have disappointed audiences, can you really blame him?
It all comes down to thedifficulties of adaptation on the production side and in the authors willingness to adapt.
Theres also the possibility that Sanderson could take things into his own hands.
For now, fans will have to be patient.
