And according to the actor, saying goodbye isnt easy.
Welliver isnt one of those actors who grows tired of a long-running gig.
In fact, its the opposite.

What kept the character fresh for him was Boschs complexityboth emotionally and morally.
That depth, Welliver says, came straight from Connellys books.
Hes a deeply nuanced character, very complex.
He doesnt evolve like other people dohe evolves situationally, instinctually.
And that always made him interesting to play.
Its Harry in assisted living, and hes solving the missing bracelet case, or the disorderly orderly.
I really miss him.
He never let me down.
He pushed me to raise my game.
Could he return one day?
