When Matt finds his witness in the Ayala case, corrupt cops aren’t far behind.
Viewers genuinely had no idea how the trial would culminate. It could have gone either way.
Its tie-ins to Matt’s struggle with losing faith in the system also became clearer as the story progressed.
After Charlie Cox’s cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil: Born Again gives Matt Murdock his first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again continues the story that started in Netflix’s three-season Daredevil series and sees Wilson Fisk ascend to mayor of New York City.
It was a brilliant return to the world of one of Marvel’s most beloved superheroes.
His “art” isn’t just unsettling, but it’s also downright terrifying to think about.
Episode six was released simultaneously with the fifth, and it certainly ramped up the anxiousness and excitement levels.
That scene between Matt and Frank is one of the best moments from the entire series.
No one saw it coming, which made it downright shocking when the skull-crushing moment came.
Season two can’t come fast enough.
But Bullseye returning wasn’t the only good thing about episode eight.
