One of the more up-and-coming stars to appear inThe Studio,Keyla Monterroso Mejia,has only been acting professionally for four years but has still made a notable impact on the industry thus far.

The Hawthorne, California-born actress is best known for appearing in some of the most popular current comedies, from starring as Maria Sofia Estrada in Seasons 11 and 12 of HBO’sCurb Your Enthusiasmto her beloved role as Ashley Garcia in the second season ofAbbott Elementary.

24Dewayne Perkins

Appearing as: Tyler

The hilariousDewayne Perkinsis set to appear as Tyler inThe Studioand is guaranteed to bring the laughs to the new series.

The Chicago-born talent is a comedian, writer, actor, and producer whose stand-up shows have received plenty of critical acclaim.

On-screen, Perkins has found fair success too as the co-writer and star ofThe Blackening, with his writing skill in particular earning him heaps of praise, including a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work onThe Amber Ruffin Show.

The Studiois keen to bring in guest stars from all corners of the industry, with the announcement ofPeter Berg’s involvement seeming inspired.

A director, producer, writer, and actor although most famous for the former Berg’s work ranges from black comedies like his 1998 directorial debutVery Bad Thingsto disaster films like 2016’sDeepwater Horizon.
