Howd you come to be a part of the project?

Was it something you sought out or did Josh bring the script to you?

But yeah, so thats how it came to be.

Did Josh give you any specific books to read to get to prepare for the role?

I kind of wish that you could just go and take a class whenever you feel like it.

Do you fall on one side of that argument?

OLSEN: Yes, I dont read books for entertainment (laughs).

The film premiered at Sundance earlier this year to an extremely positive response.

You had a similar experience last year withMartha Marcy May Marlene.

Whats it like to work opposite a lead actor whos also the writer and director?

So it was actually very specific and very effective, and he was thoroughly organized.

Zibby is described as an old soul trapped in a young persons body.

Did that kind of jump out at you in the script as something you could relate to?

OLSEN: Yeah absolutely.

I dont need to go back or rush for it, Im happy with where I am right now.

Which is, I think, a better feeling (laughs).

Theres kind of some more graphic material in the original, is Spike really going for it?
