During the panel for the Disney+ series, McCann’s look was revealed.
McCann replacesRay Stevensonfor Season 2, who unfortunately passed away in 2023.
“Baylan is important,” says Dave Filoni, the chief creative officer of Lucasfilm.

“He’s the parallel to Ahsoka, and that’s a parallel that’s got to continue.”
She goes on to explain.
“Ray was the greatest person,the greatest spirit of the show,” Filoni explains.
He had me at the show ‘Rome’ on HBO, if anybody’s watched ‘Rome.’
I miss Ray all the time.
I’m so saddened that he’s not here with us anymore.
I remember walking on set and wondering who designed this?
