Once again, Paramount Pictures has decided to delay the release ofA Quiet Place Part II.
Krasinski’s new movie is the long-awaited sequel to 2018’sA Quiet Place.
On Friday, it was announcedA Quiet Place Part IIhad been delayed to September 17.
Previously, Paramount had pushedA Quiet Place Part IIfrom its March 2020 date to April 23, 2021.
Thisfirst release date delay occurredin the aftermath of the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
In November, it was announced the universe ofA Quiet Placewould be expandingwith a spinoff movie.

The movie is set to be directed byJeff Nichols, the helmer ofMidnight Special,Take Shelter, andLoving.
Krasinski will produce the spinoff movie.
A Quiet Place Part IIis now currently scheduled for theatrical release on September 17, 2021.
