One thing is clear, and that is that9-1-1cannot lose Bobby.
He is a fundamental part of the show, and he is the heart of the 118.
After all this time, Bobby still remembers every single detail.

This scene also shows how much the job means to Bobby, and how the losses still affect him.
Additionally, it gives a look into his relationship with Buck early on, hinting at their eventual closeness.
Brad Torrence (Callum Blue) isn’t willing to let Bobby go that easily, though.
The ever-gentle and level-headed Bobby Nash gives Brad a much-needed reality check where he calls him entitled.
He tells Chimney abouttrying to get penance for the apartment firebefore he is eventually planning to end his life.
Ultimately, Chimney is able to encourage Bobby to take a second chance at life.
Later, he goes to see her so that he can give her her Christmas present the night before.
It is then revealed that Bobby has two presents for Athena: a key… and a ring.
The best part is that she cuts him off by immediately saying yes.
He then serves them all sitting down, and announces that they will now be implementing regular family dinners.
Bobby saves her life, and then afterwards, Bobby and May have an incredibly touching scene.
Bobby takes Athena on a belated honeymoon, while she is not as enthusiastic about the idea.

Athena corrects him, though, and she reaffirms her love for him.
While preparing for the date, Bobby has a nice conversation with Chimney.
