Here are some questions that we still have after theParadiseSeason 1 finale.
We only know him as “Trent.”
The Season 1 finale ofParadiseopens withthe backstory of Cal’s killer.

The man only known as Trent starts out as the person overseeing the construction of the bunker.
This gets him put in jail, where he remains until he escapes to the bunker.
That being said, we can’t help but wonder what his real name was.
6Why Was Seeing Cal in the Library the Last Straw for Trent?
Surely he saw Cal around town before then.
5How Will Sinatra Change When She Wakes Up?
This coma could change her motives.
When Xavier believes that Presley is dead, he kills Sinatra’s guards and almost kills her.
Before he can kill her, Jane shoots her in the chest.

Didn’t she want to know who killed Cal?
Now that we know that Sinatra didn’t kill Cal, though, her motives this season are questionable.

3Is There Any Line That Jane Wont Cross?
Why didn’t she kill Presley?
Sinatra is the main villain throughout Season 1 ofParadise, and she is a great one.

She is deeply ambitious and intelligent, and has always sought out power, even before the world ended.
She is also motivated very strongly by fear.
Her son (Peter Gorbis) died of an illness years ago, and the grief destroyed her.

This love for her kids is where Sinatra draws her line.
She threatens Xavier’s children, but does not want to hurt them.
