Overall, the execution here feels like a sloppy way of giving Rick an excuse to lose his cool.
Do they even know?
In contrast, season one shows guests' responses to a burglary and even makes it affect the plot.
Likewise, season two shows an entire beach of people learning about those deaths on the yacht.
Rick is pretending to be a film producer who wants to offer her a role in a movie.
He’s also using a friend (Sam Rockwell) to pose as the director of said film.
Okay, but shouldn’t film producers be able to talk extensively about the people they’re casting?
Likewise, couldn’t Sritala look him up briefly to check his credentials?
