When it comes to action movies,Die Hardstands alone.
The vast majority, however,aren’t worthy enough to carry John McClane’s filthy undershirt.

The sequel,Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, is worse in every way possible.
That’s real dark territory.
Elsewhere, the movie is just dull and unimaginative.
That kind of movie certainly appeals to a few specific demographics, but otherwise is not recommended action viewing.
Even worse,the movie commits the cardinal cinematic sin of castingcharismatic B-movie king Bruce Campbellas a deadpan villain.
Willem Dafoe completes the casting trinity as a wild-eyed villain with an affinity for leeches.

The school setting has mostly been abandoned in violent action movies, out of good taste.
Unfortunately, the filmmakers behindRun Hide Fightare tasteless.
If it weren’t for the subject matter, it would beanother forgettable action movie.
They’re both bad, but not nearly as bad as TBS Superstation (remember that kids?)
The villains and action are both bland, andthe trademark McClane wit is missing in action.
He, and the character, deserved a much better send off than this.
