Superhero groups are among the most notable team-ups in fiction, withThe Avengersdemonstrating their mass appeal.

But DC has its own, equally popular hero group called theJustice League.

With an extensive roster spanning multiple storylines, the actual number of members is in the hundreds.

More than a few characters have turned down an invitation to join the Justice League for various reasons.

There aremany great versions of Wonder Girl,and she would have made a remarkable member of the League.

However, given the opportunity to join the Justice League,Nightwing turned them down in multiple iterations.

Other times, his refusal comes from a desire to focus on his team, the Titans.
