It also has lots of foreshadowing, which plays into the mystery element of the series.

Overall, this is a very meticulously orchestrated process.

It doesn’t work out exactly as planned, but Greg still comes out on top.

Now, the first scene of season three takes place on hotel grounds.

9The Suicide Fruit

There’s no other reason to mention this fruit.

Very early on in season three, the Ratliff family is introduced to the pong pong tree.

He definitely gives off that vibe, and practically everything he does underscores that characteristic.

It doesn’t help that the word “victim” was used in aWhite Lotusseason.

Chelsea could fill up a list of clues just with her dialogue.

Besides the example above, there’s also the time she said that bad things happen in threes.

Okay, two more quotes from Chelsea.

The finale will show that this is both an emotional connection and a physical one.

When Chelsea tells Rick that their fates are intertwined, that just about seals the deal.

Not only do we have Chekhov’s gun; we have Chekhov’s sniper to go with it.

Sure enough, he kills Rick in the finale with this gun.

If only his shot could have been a bit more challenging.

You don’t have to be a great shot to land a hit on that target, but whatever.

It doesn’t kill him, but it did make for a dramatic scene.

It’s not very funny or interesting, but it definitely counts as foreshadowing.

They all run away, and they luckily go unscathed.

In fact, they don’t even seem to have the event on their minds in their final scene.

1Chelsea Never Started Conflict

She was too wholesome and forgiving to survive.

One more thing about Chelsea: her virtue.
